Custom 316L stainless steel jewelry manufacturing for brands and wholesalers, including design review, sampling, 18K gold PVD, logos, testing and production.
Yes. CHARMOND can evaluate 316 and 316L stainless steel for suitable custom jewelry projects. The practical route depends on product geometry, manufacturing process, material commitment, finish, target quantity and market requirements. Most ready-stock fashion jewelry uses 304 stainless steel; custom 316/316L projects normally require a higher MOQ and a clearer production brief.
316 or 316L selected according to the approved project specification and sourcing route.
Natural steel, polished or commercial gold-tone PVD developed to the agreed specification.
Feasibility review, sampling, logo, packaging, QC and production coordination.
The best grade is the one that matches the product, market and commercial plan. Grade alone does not prove nickel-release performance, plating durability or suitability for every wear condition.
| Route | Practical use | Buyer consideration |
|---|---|---|
| 304 | Common ready-stock and fashion-jewelry route | Broader style choice and easier small-scale testing |
| 316 | Custom projects that specify this grade | Material availability and MOQ require review |
| 316L | Low-carbon 316-family route for suitable designs | Claims should follow the tested product and destination market |
Bands, signet forms, spinner styles, engraved designs and stone-set directions subject to construction review.
Hoops, huggies, studs and drops with posts, closures, weight and comfort reviewed during development.
Chains, pendants and layered concepts with length, weight, assembly and closure specifications.
Links, bangles, cuffs and cord combinations developed around sizing, movement and finishing access.
Custom shapes, engraving, symbols, initials and branded components from artwork or samples.
Logo methods, cards, bags, boxes and repeat-order specifications coordinated as separate production items.
Clear checkpoints reduce avoidable revisions and keep the quotation, sample and bulk order aligned.
Gold-tone projects can be developed using real 18K gold PVD vacuum plating, typically around 0.03–0.06 μm unless a project specifies otherwise. Color, surface preparation, thickness expectation and approval reference should be agreed for the actual design.
Material grade is not automatic proof of nickel-free, hypoallergenic or universal compliance. Nickel, chromium, lead and cadmium requirements depend on the destination market and final tested product.
There is no single MOQ for every 316L design. Quantity follows the manufacturing route, material purchase, tooling, component availability and finish. As working guidance across stainless steel projects, cutting can begin around 100 pieces, casting around 200–300 pieces and hydraulic pressing around 600 pieces; the confirmed MOQ follows the actual design.
Provide drawings or references, dimensions, quantity, material, finish, destination market and branding needs.
Confirm which features the sample must prove and which measurements, colors or functions control approval.
Keep the approved sample, specification, finish reference and packaging details aligned with the reorder.

No. 316L offers stronger resistance in some environments, but 304 may be more practical for many fashion-jewelry programs. The correct choice depends on design, claims, market, quantity and budget.
Yes, for suitable projects. Base material, preparation, color reference, plating specification and expected use should be reviewed together.
MOQ is process-based rather than grade-only. The design and material route must be reviewed before quantity is confirmed.
Yes. Laser marking, stamping, moulded logos, metal tags and buyer-supplied packaging can be evaluated according to product and quantity.
Testing can be coordinated for agreed materials or finished products. The standard, sample, laboratory, market and confidentiality requirements should be confirmed first.
