Understand stock-sample pricing, custom sample timelines, tooling charges, revisions and the exact point at which eligible development fees are returned.

A stock sample confirms an existing item. A custom prototype tests a new shape, process, color, construction or branded detail and needs technical review before cost and timing can be confirmed.

Quoted according to process.

The following ranges use calendar days. Chinese public holidays are excluded, and the business team confirms the final schedule after the brief and relevant payment are complete.
| Sample route | Reference time | What affects the schedule |
|---|---|---|
| Ready-stock sample | Within 7 days | Preparation and dispatch; international transit is not included. |
| Cutting sample | 12–15 days | Approved dimensions, cutting route, polishing and finish. |
| Casting sample | 30–35 days | Tooling, casting, polishing, assembly and finish. |
| Hydraulic-press sample | About 40 days | Tooling, forming complexity and surface finish. |
The quotation should show what is included and what must be approved separately.
Custom sample material, labor, polishing and the agreed real-gold PVD vacuum plating can be included in the sample fee.
CAD preparation, molds, cutting dies, hydraulic tooling and other dedicated development items are quoted separately when required.
Every physical-sample revision is charged according to the requested change and whether remaking, refinishing or retooling is needed.
Completed sample work, tooling and project costs already incurred are non-refundable and must be settled if the project is cancelled.
The buyer pays the sample courier charge. Delivery time depends on destination and carrier.
Third-party laboratory testing and inspection are not automatically included in a sample fee. Scope and cost must be agreed separately.
When cumulative purchases of the same style reach 2,000 pieces, CHARMOND directly returns the corresponding eligible sample fee and tooling fee. Unrelated styles cannot be combined.
Repeat orders of the same approved style can accumulate toward the threshold.
After the 2,000-piece threshold is reached and verified, the corresponding eligible fees are returned directly.
Courier, third-party inspection and laboratory testing are buyer-paid services outside this policy.
Each stage creates a clear decision before more cost or production work is committed.
Provide a clear image, exact dimensions, expected quantity and project requirements.
We identify cutting, casting, hydraulic forming, tooling, assembly and finish needs.
Sample, tooling, revision, finish and shipping costs are separated for approval.
